Catalina Names Former Dell Executive, John Miles, New CIO
ST. PETERSBURG - Digital marketing firm, Catalina, today announced the appointment of John Miles, as its new executive vice president and chief information officer. As Catalina’s executive vice president and CIO, Miles will be responsible for leading IT strategy, research and development and new product development.
Miles brings extensive management experience with leading global businesses and consulting organizations to Catalina. Since 2009, he served as a senior member of the Dell leadership team and CIO for its global commercial and consumer businesses. Miles helped drive fundamental change initiatives in sales operations, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, CRM, social media, finance, dell.com, channel and customer support. Miles has also held senior executive and technology positions with Lowe’s and Lend Lease, Inc., as well as consulting positions at Arthur Anderson and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Miles replaces Eric Williams, who spent 19 years at Catalina and played a formative role in the company’s development as a global leader in consumer brand, health and retail marketing. Among his many accomplishments, Williams led the design and implementation of Catalina’s shopper data warehouse, one of the largest transaction-level databases in the world.
