E-commerce firm Savtira Opens Ybor Headquarters, Hiring 65 Employees
TAMPA - Savtira Corporation has announced it is bringing 65 new jobs to the historic Ybor City district of Tampa. Savtira, a new provider of outsourced e-commerce solutions, will be moving into its new 8,000 square foot Ybor City headquarters on January. The company designs and manages online businesses for publishers, software and game developers, aggregators, distributors, streaming companies, netcasters, retailers and e-tailers.
"Three things strike me about this event," said Ed Johnston, IT Director, Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "First, Tampa continues as a beacon of high-tech growth. Second, Savtira's business model itself is really, really cool. Last, Tampa is a wonderful place to live and work, and this is further proof of that. We are diversifying our economy, and this is another sign."
"Tampa is a natural fit for Savtira. As the gateway for Florida's High-Tech Corridor, Tampa offers a great business climate for a digital e-commerce company," stated Timothy Roberts, CEO. "We are particularly excited to open our headquarters in Ybor City where the convergence of eclectic restaurants and innovative businesses have created a Greenwich Village in Florida. As we continue to solidify relationships with strategic partners for infrastructure, publishing and retail distribution, we expect to add hundreds, if not thousands, of future jobs to the Tampa Bay economy."
"Sixty-five new jobs for Tampa Bay residents is great news. Savtira is a company with a very bright future and prospects to add hundreds more jobs," Lou Rossi, President & CEO of Qoncert Technologies, responded. "It's a significant boost to the Tampa economy."
