Enporion Celebrates 10 Years in Business
TAMPA – E-procurement solutions provider Enporion announced today that it is celebrating ten successful years in business. Founded in 2000 by seven investor-owned gas and electric utility companies, Enporion is now an employee and veteran-owned company, and offers an extensive suite of sourcing and procurement software as a service in the cloud.
According to Dun & Bradstreet, less than ten percent of start-up businesses make it to the 10-year point.

Enporion’s exemplary customer support and system reliability have earned it the distinction of being named to Supply & Demand Chain Magazine’s Top 100 list for five consecutive years. Its tools have enabled over 4000 sourcing events, and as an e-commerce hub connecting buyers and suppliers, it has processed millions of transactions, all of which have contributed to a lower cost and a streamlined business process for the acquisition of goods and services by Enporion customers.
“Not only has Enporion survived the dot-com era and two recessions, they have raised the visibility of the high-tech business community in our region,” says Randy Berridge, President of the Florida High Tech Corridor Council. “Enporion is an asset to our business community and has contributed significantly to our efforts to transform our region into a hotbed of technology companies.”
