STAR TEC Adds Three to Accelerator
LARGO – STAR Technology Enterprise Center, an innovation and entrepreneurship center for technology businesses, has added three new clients: Mini Cities Inc., Calypto Media and NuEnergy Technologies.
Mini Cities offers localized online communities to connect local businesses with local people in the suburbs surrounding Tampa, Atlanta and Seattle. Businesses benefit from hyper-local online advertising, e-mail marketing and reputation building, while local residents have access to businesses, events and coupons specific to their community.
Calypto Media is a computer integrator of “in-the-wall” computer systems for consumers. Their lead product, the In-the-Wall WebSmart Entertainment Center, replaces every electronic device normally connected to a television and is designed to be installed behind or below a wall-mounted flat screen television.
NuEnergy Technologies develops and markets groundbreaking renewable energy products and consulting services. Their research and products division develops prototypes of sustainable energy systems and their services division provides a broad range of “clean energy” consulting services to its clients.
“We think these clients could have a great impact on their industries,” says Doug Martin, chairman of the STAR TEC Advisory Board and CFO, The Imagine Companies, LLC. “STAR TEC is pleased to provide the services that will help accelerate the growth of these emerging technology companies.”
