Tribridge Names New CFO

By Florida Technology Journal Staff Report.

tribridge-logoTAMPA - Tribridge, a Tampa-based IT services and business consulting firm, announced that Chris Joseph has joined the company as chief financial officer. His primary responsibilities will include managing financial performance and supporting the company’s ongoing acquisition strategy.

“We are extremely fortunate to have a leader of Chris’s talent and experience on board,” said Tribridge CEO and Chairman Tony DiBenedetto. “As an entrepreneur and a veteran financial executive, Chris brings a wealth of experience with fast-growing services companies like Tribridge. He is a perfect fit for overseeing our financial operations and protecting the interests of our shareholders, team members and most importantly our customers.”

Mr. Joseph joined the company in May when Tribridge acquired Chicago-based Mercatus where he served as chief executive officer and co-chairman of the board. Mercatus offered managed technology services to healthcare providers, including project-oriented consulting, practice management support, billing optimization and electronic health records. Joseph’s experience at Mercatus, where services included both on premise and cloud based solutions, will be advantageous as Tribridge continues to expand online services in healthcare as well as professional services, distribution, manufacturing and government.

Prior to founding Mercatus, Mr. Joseph held the chief financial officer role at Parson Group LLC, an international finance and operations consultancy that was ranked #1 on the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Company list. Mr. Joseph was also founder and chief operating officer of a technology hardware distributor that achieved $100 million in annual revenue before its sale to GE Capital. His background also includes more than 10 years in private equity and banking and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Mr. Joseph is currently a member of the Misericordia Heart of Mercy Center Advisory Council and the Miami University Business Advisory Council.

“Joining the Tribridge team was a fantastic decision,” says Chris Joseph. “The energy and enthusiasm for this business is evident in everyone I’ve met. I’m looking forward to playing a role in the evolution of this company in the years to come.”
