Tampa Software Developer Acclaris Raises $35.1 Million
TAMPA - Acclaris Holdings has raised $35.1 million from sale of common and preferred shares in an exercise related to the company's buyout by a group of investors, according to an regulatory filing.
Principals named in the filing by the Tampa-based company, which makes software to administer healthcare programs, are CEO Mark Whittington; founder and President Dipankar Mandal; Christine Lundquist, vice president for finance and administration; Kalyan Kar, managing director of the company's Indian subsidiary; and directors Arneek Multani of Trident Capital, with offices in Palo Alto, Calif. and Westport, Conn.; Ian Lane of Boston-based HarbourVest Partners; Barry Goldsmith of Updata Partners, with offices in Reston, Va., and Edison, N.J.; and Amit Basak of Waltham, Mass.-based Staley Capital.
Acclaris enables consumer-driven healthcare by developing a technology platform to manage a variety of health programs.
