Network Liquidators changes name to Vology Data Systems
OLDSMAR – Network Liquidators, a Tampa Bay-headquartered independent global technology solutions company is changing its name to Vology Data Systems effective March 17, 2010. The new company name better conveys the rapidly growing organization’s key mission: delivering complete technology solutions to customers in the U.S. and 80 countries worldwide.
“The focus of our core business has changed,” said Vology Data Systems founder and CEO Barry Shevlin, who was named “CEO of the Year” by Tampa Bay CEO magazine and “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Gulf Coast Business Review. “While we’re still known for our competitive prices, we haven’t been a liquidator for several years. As we grew and shifted our business model to meet customer demands, we’ve focused more on serving as a technology solutions partner and trusted advisor for Fortune 2000 businesses and mid market clients.”
Shevlin, who is active in the Young Presidents Organization, CEO Council of Tampa Bay and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, notes that the name change is unrelated to a merger, acquisition or reorganization: “We believe our new name and brand look and feel will help propel us to the next level,” he said. “The name evokes two of our key differentiators – top quality enterprise solutions delivered with exceptional speed. We remain dedicated to providing our customers competitive prices, quality products and premier customer service.”
