Vertical IT Solutions Announces Two New Hires, Signaling More Positive Changes to Come
TAMPA – Vertical IT Solutions, A Central Florida provider of outsourced information technology, has kicked off 2010 with another two new additions to its team. Eric Buckley, joining as a consultant and Nick Apotsos as the company’s business development manager are both timely and valued additions to Vertical IT with the company unveiling its new brand February 1, 2010.
“With the addition of Eric and Nick, we are definitely starting 2010 on the right track,” said Andrew Cohen, president of Vertical IT Solutions. “We pride ourselves on constant communication with clients so we understand where we need to fill in gaps. These new additions are a result of these conversations and is really a strategic move to add in certain areas so we can accomplish the goal of being an outsourced IT department.”
Buckley comes to Vertical IT with 17 years of technology experience. Most recently he was director of IT for Rooms to Go at the corporate headquarters. Buckley will serve an integral role at Vertical IT as a member of the CIO team, helping clients with their strategic IT needs. His expertise is in the areas of technology assessment, PCI and other compliant requirements.
Apotsos’ role as business development manager is to prospect and acquire new clients who engage Vertical IT for the full Care4IT relationship, which includes documentation and recommendations, projects, preventive maintenance, CIO services, monitoring and product procurement. Apotsos previously was director of sales at Westec Intelligent Surveillance/Digital Witness where he opened new offices throughout Central Florida. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Kent State University.
