Redstone Technologies Breaks Broadband and Wireless Barriers
Christopher Anderson, President and CEO of Tampa based Redstone Technologies announced today the company's stunning breakthrough in wireless broadband communications. All existing broadband customers currently are limited in the amount of useable bandwidth of no more than 40 Mega-bits-per-second over fixed cable TV, phone line, or fiber connections.
Redstone has created the ability to expand this capacity to 250 Mega-bits-per-second and beyond over reliable wireless connections while greatly reducing costs. The impact will be felt across all forms of modern electronic communications. As Mr. Anderson said, "This is a change that affects the entire world's ability to communicate with a natural, realistic video and audio quality never seen before - and to roam with that service in any deployment area."
Redstone's expansion is created by the company's breakthrough capabilities in the physical layer of communications systems, a development to date unknown and unmatched by all existing technologies. The rapidly deployable physical layer technology in its Redstone PHY Engine elevates communications to a new level of video and audio quality, dramatically increases transmission speeds, and does so while reducing the amount of energy consumption required.
This is a completely new technology in micro-chip communications. With its Redstone PHY Engine ASIC chip, Redstone customers can enjoy new and expanded services in true high-definition two-way video conferencing, electronic newspaper distribution, 3D streaming video-on-demand, and surround-sound quality audio broadcasting.
