Scott Riley named Outstanding Business Leader of The Year
The annual Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Businesses of the Year ceremony held at the Tampa Convention Center on September 25th, recognized and awarded companies based on financial success, community involvement and ethical business practices. The awards ceremony was attended by over 1,000 local civic leaders, politicians and business owners. With the ever present recession and credit crunch, this was one of the toughest years in recent history; making the victory on Friday all the sweeter.
Singled out was Scott Riley, CEO of Financial Information Technologies (Fintech). Riley was named Outstanding Leader of the Year by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. He took the reigns as CEO of Fintech in 1995, when the company had yet to turn a profit. Riley identified new sources of capital, shifted sales focus and hired technology experts, allowing customers access to real-time data concerning their alcohol payments. Today Fintech is growing at a double digit pace.
Fintech, located at 7702 Woodland Center Blvd. Suite 50, Tampa 33614, is an EFT payment and data solution which allows alcohol distributors to be paid electronically by their retailers. Fintech now serves over 166,000 relationships in all 50 states.
