IT Business Leader Named Entrepreneur Of The Year
Tribridge, a leading U.S.-based IT services and business consulting firm, announces Chairman and CEO Tony DiBenedetto has been named the Ernst & Young 2009 Florida Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Technology category. DiBenedetto was selected by an independent panel of judges and was presented the award during a gala event at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards is in its 23rd year and honors entrepreneurs who have achieved exceptional success in areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“I’m humbled to be recognized by such an internationally-respected organization, and I applaud Ernst & Young for supporting entrepreneurship in this country,” said DiBenedetto. “The award is a great honor not only for me, but for Tribridge team members. Growing this company with my colleagues has been an exciting ride, and I look forward to what our future holds.”
DiBenedetto recently led the merger between Tribridge and Navint, a Rochester, N.Y.-based IT services and business consulting firm. The merger of Tribridge, with a strong presence in the southeast and central regions, and Navint, with equally solid representation in the northeast and western regions, created a diversified IT services firm with a national footprint. Offices are located in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orlando, Pittsburgh and Rochester.

As a Florida award recipient, DiBenedetto is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 14, 2009. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nations most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
