Hillsborough Community College Nabs $2.8 Million for Technology Education Center

TAMPA - The National Science Foundation has awarded a $2.8 million grant to the Florida Advanced Technological Education Center at Hillsborough Community College.
The grant is intended to support the Advanced Technological Education Regional Center, according to a written statement. It also will be used for additional research in technician education and industry credential alignment to academics.
FLATE prepares Florida’s workforce for advanced and emerging technology jobs and is located at HCC’s Brandon campus.
