GWIZ and IVIR Launch Interactive Medical Education Exhibition

SARASOTA - GWIZ - The Science Center and IVIR - Information Visualization and Innovative Research, announced the launch of ‘meduzone,’ an interactive medical education exhibition.
“Because healthcare is one of the fastest growing economic drivers in our region, we partnered with IVIR to create meduzone as a nexus for educating our entire community, and not just children, on the latest medical education technologies and the careers available with them,” said Molly Demeulenaere, Executive Director of GWIZ. “Visitors taking the meduzone journey will learn in an informal manner how these technologies are used to train and aid health providers in the diagnoses, prevention and treatment of medical conditions along with the career opportunities available in the healthcare space.”
“GWIZ is an excellent venue and we are thrilled to be aligned with our community partners in sponsoring these informal, interactive and fun displays,” said John J. Anton, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Information Visualization And Innovative Research Incorporated. “These efforts will educate people about medical education and career paths to fill the increasing trained personnel shortages in the healthcare industry, which will also reduce unemployment and encourage young professionals to learn and work here. meduzone is going to drive adults and children to investigate these career paths.”
GWIZ is seeking additional partner sponsors in the field of medicine, medical training and technologies for meduzone that wish to reach the over 125,000 physical visitors annually to GWIZ that make the effort to foster passion for the sciences and exploration in their children,
Current meduzone partner sponsors include IVIR, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Biolucid, Robrady, CAE Healthcare, Zebra Imaging, Simulaids, Simbionix and SPHS.
