Tampa Bay Technology Forum Calls for Nominations for 7th Annual Awards Gala

TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Technology Forum announces a call for nominations for its 7th Annual Industry Achievement Awards to be held November 12 at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa.

The Industry Achievement Awards honor the leaders in Tampa Bay’s technology industry. Finalists will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges and honored in front of hundreds at a black-tie awards gala. To nominate your company, a deserving client, vendor or colleague, visit the TBTF website for a nomination form to be completed and returned to awards@tbtf.org. TBTF will then send the nominee an official application.

TBTF members are strongly urged to apply, but nominations are also open to prospective member companies in the Tampa Bay area. To be eligible, companies must have operations in the Tampa Bay region (Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, Hernando and Citrus counties), except in the case of Emerging Technology Company, which must also be headquartered in Tampa Bay.

Award categories include:

• Emerging Technology Company of the Year Award - Recognizes a technology company headquartered in Tampa Bay that has been in business less than five years.
• Technology Company of the Year Award - Recognizes an established technology company that has been in business five or more years.
• Excellence in Service Award - Recognizes an organization providing professional services aimed at growing technology companies.
• Community Supporter of the Year Award - Recognizes an organization that has made a significant impact on advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiatives and programs in the region.
• Rising Star Award - Recognizes a young leader under the age of 40 who has made a significant and positive impact on the region's technology community.
• Outstanding Leadership Award - Recognizes a demonstrated leader who has made a significant and positive impact on Tampa Bay's technology community.

The 7th Annual Industry Achievement Awards Gala will be held Friday, November 12 at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa.

Applications are available on the TBTF website and must be returned to awards@tbtf.org by Aug. 31.
