20 Florida Companies to Showcase Cutting Edge Home Technologies at EHX Spring 2010
ARLINGTON, VA -Twenty Florida-based companies will join 125 participating companies showcasing the latest home technology products at the Electronic House Expo Spring 2010. Sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association’s TechHome Division, EHX Spring runs March 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
EHX focuses on CE integration and retailing and attracts custom electronics professionals, custom retailers, computer VARs, systems integrators, electrical contractors and builders seeking new products and solutions for their custom electronics businesses. Manufacturers and distributors of products in home health technology, smart energy, retrofit, commercial, digital media, recurring revenue and custom electronics will be specifically highlighted at this year’s show.
“Since its inauguration, EHX has been the flagship event for introducing breakthrough technology in home audio, video, automation and control technology,” said Hassan Hares, president of Bradenton-based, ekeyUSA. “This year we are extremely excited to participate in the EHX Spring 2010 to showcase the first-ever ekey fingerprint architect door handle with concealed fingerprint, as well as the latest Bio-entry integrated fingerprint access, keypad, camera, intercom and door bell.”
Each year, EHX exhibitors introduce the latest products, technologies and market trends in the custom home electronics industry. This March, EHX will showcase more than 125 participating companies, conference sessions and hands-on training opportunities.
“We’re looking forward to this year’s spring EHX because it offers one of the few opportunities to make personal contact with many of our clients,” said Tim Lavey, vice president of Orlando-based, Feature Presentation. “We’re especially excited to be featuring a new product this spring, a predesigned home theater interior package under $10,000. This package, along with some of the value-packed, inexpensive electronic packages, will tap us into a new market.”
CEA researchers will host CEA’s TechHome Division Breakfast: Building Home Technology’s Future on Friday, March 26. CEA’s Steve Koenig, director of industry analysis, and Shawn DuBravac, chief economist, will host an interactive discussion on best practices for selling and marketing home technology, developing builder relationships and increasing builder engagement with home tech solutions.
“We are thrilled to exhibit at this year’s EHX Spring 2010, because it is a perfect fit for our distribution company focused on an electronic device that uses capacitors to fine tune electrical systems,” said Jim Hether, managing member, A1A Energy Savers, LLC, based in Daytona Beach. “Our device reclaims, stores, recycles and supplies power to all inductive loads. It is a readily available and renewable energy source and we are pleased to announce it at EHX.”
