Florida Technology Journal Launches

Florida Technology Journal, an online publication dedicated to providing news and resources to more than 280,000 high tech professionals in Florida, has launched.

The Florida Technology Journal will highlight groups, associations and programs available to the technology industry and workforce. The publication will also profile of Florida’s technology leaders, venture deals and emerging technology companies, all in one industry resource.

“Promoting Florida's technology economy is vital to the state’s long term growth success”, says online publisher David Glass. “The innovation of companies and resources in our state often can get overlooked simply due to lack of awareness. Florida has the talent and now needs a collaborative approach to make this talent be seen and thrive”.

In additional to providing news, it will also host and sponsor statewide programs aimed at connecting and educating Florida’s technology leadership, estimated to be the fourth largest technology workforce nationwide. These select events include the Internet & Technology Summit 2010 to be held June 21-23 in Orlando and TechVenture 2010 to be hosted in the fall.
