Full Sail University Opens New ESPN Sports Media Lab

Full Sail University recently celebrated its second anniversary of its partnership with ESPN and the opening of the new on campus Sports Media Lab powered by ESPN. Full Sail University president, Garry Jones; Josh Mora, Director of Sports Marketing and Media Degree Program, and David Saphirstein, Director of Creative Technology at ESPN share their thoughts on the benefits of the program.

The program gives Full Sail University students a chance to work with ESPN mentors in simulated working environments to develop audience engagement applications and projects including: ESPN 3D, virtual graphics, Huck-O-Meter, and the Emmy-winning EA Virtual Playbook.

The sports media lab facilities are located at its campus in Winter Park. The new lab includes expanded control and meeting rooms, and new studios.
